译者非常优秀，还译过《乔布斯传》。文笔非常好，对原文的情感描述把握得很好，但囿于知识结构，有个别知识点没有详细查证。按照信达雅的要求，概括起来就是：雅极佳，达较好，信尚可。 书是李飞飞和另一人合写的，而且感觉主要是另一人写的，很多在非母语读者看来比较怪异的句式，甚至还有夹杂一些法语词汇。
