因为《使女的故事》 知晓 Margaret Atwood。Hulu 出品的同名电视剧，虽喜爱，但看得心惊，大学同学送了我一本Vintage出版的小说，至今我还没有敢去翻看; 续作The Testaments 也已经在书架上躺了近半年。
《Dearly》不同， 平易近人，一如开篇那首《Late Poems》定下的基调 ——

诗里的意像多半来自日常生活的细微之处，但这些微小的入口都引向了宏大的话题 —— 关于生死（《Flatline》、《Winter Vacations》） 、关于环保 (《Heart on the Arctic》) 、关于今时今日的女性平权 （《Update on Werewolves》） …… 个人非常喜欢《Update on Werewolves》，因为自己最近也在思考相近的话题。
市场不断哄抬着女性的权力，像是诱饵一样将女性引入没有选择权力的深渊。 根据世界经济论坛去年发布的《2020全球性别差距报告 》，在被调研的153个国家和地区中，我们的排名从2010年的61位下降至106位。
